Name of the Fellowship: Basic Scientific Research Fellowship (RFSMS)
Introduction: The Research Fellowship in Sciences for meritorious students BSR scheme of the UGC is open to candidates who are selected for registering for the Ph.D. programme of the university.
Objective: The BSR scheme aims to provide opportunities to meritorious candidates to undertake advanced studies and research leading to Ph.D. degrees in sciences.
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates who are selected for registering to the Ph.D.
programme in Basic Sciences.
Fellowship amount: For Non NET/GATE qualified Rs. 21,700/- p.m. forfirst two year
Rs. 24,800/- p.m. 3rd, 4th and 5th Year
For NET/GATE qualified Rs. 24,800/- p.m. for first two years
Rs. 27,900/- p.m. 3rd, 4th and 5th Year
